Welcome to KLRUFC
We look forward with great anticipationto the forthcomeing season where the club will again field three competetive senior sides. The first team, captained by Matt Hughes will be playing in the North Lancs/Cumbria league. The 2nd team captained by Lee Benson and the 3rd team captained by Pete Kyles will be playing in Northwest Merit Table leagues, 2 North and 4 North respectively. Training is led by club coach Mike Nelson and takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 7pm. New players are very welcome.
The mini youth section who meet on Sundays at 10.45 am will be represented by a full complement of teams from each age group, leading up to the colts where the club have introduced the new exciting colts academy. The club relies heavily on youth makeing the transition to senior level and praise the efforts of the coaches enabling this to be possible. New players are always welcome so if you are interested turn up on a Sunday morning and John Anderson the chairman of Mini and Youth will be pleased to welcome you.
The management committee welcomes the appointment of several senior players to the ranks, where their opinion and contribution will continue to keep our club at the forefront of club rugby in Cumbria.
