Camping Rules & Conditions

RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR CAMPERS AT KIRKBY LONSDALE RUFC.

We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and caravanning.

Pitches are available from 2pm on the day your visit commences. Please arrive before 6 pm, but should you be delayed please call 07953 966066 or email camp@klrufc.co.uk to make alternative arrangements. There is a speed limit of 5 mph both on the approach to Raygarth and on the camping site. Please adhere to this restriction and drive SLOWLY along Raygarth and consider our neighbours. This includes bicycles and any other wheeled conveyances. No recreational vehicles such as motorised scooters or quad bikes are allowed.

On arrival please park on the main dark park by the Clubhouse and await a member of our team to come to your vehicle. Should one of the team be showing another camper to their pitch, then please await their return. They will then check you in and show you to your designated pitch and point out the nearest water taps, bins and amenities.
When using the water taps, please ensure they are turned off after use.

If using the showers please wait until there is a free shower room available and limit your time to 20 minutes in consideration to other users. Similarly, leave the showers as you would expect to find them.

At the end of your stay you must vacate your site by 11 am and leave it in a clean and tidy state. Pitches are offered for one tent, motor home, caravan or camper van only. Additional units must be booked prior to your arrival should they be required. A gazebo or similar may be acceptable providing they are within your designated area. Pitch price includes up to 6 occupants in your accommodation.
You must pitch as directed by the team and not encroach upon any neighbouring pitch and consider fire risk limitations, safety and access. Should you encroach beyond your designated area and pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to vacate the site.

You must ensure children in your party are properly supervised at all times in all areas of the park and all amenities especially when using a bicycle or scooter.

Should you bring a dog, this remains your responsibility at all times and MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD and not left unattended. You must clean up after your dog and MUST NOT be allowed on the rugby pitches.

We operate a "quiet policy". No music should be audible outside your accommodation after 10pm. Please respect your fellow campers and keep noise levels down generally after 10pm.

You must inform us of any changes and extra requirements prior to your arrival. Once you have made your booking, the price of your stay will not be subject to change unless your holiday requirements change.

We will confirm your booking indicating that a pitch has been reserved for you on the dates requested. The pitch offered will be based on the information supplied by you.

You may request a specific pitch, BUT THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED.
Acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a specific pitch. Bookings are NOT TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances. Alterations by you to a booking after confirmation, will incur an administrative charge of £5 per alteration. All bookings can only be made by persons over the age of 18 years of age. They will be responsible for the behaviour of all persons in their party.

Cancellations by you due to inclement weather or non arrival of party members, arrival after the due date or events beyond our control will not result in a refund.

If you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked dates, there is no guarantee that the same pitch will be available. Every effort will be made to accommodate you but this cannot be guaranteed. It may be that the facilities advertised are not available through no fault of the owner and have to be closed or limited for safety or improvement reasons.

Once the booking is confirmed you will have entered into a contract with Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC at LA6 2DS. KLRUFC will not be liable to any person visiting, for any personal injury, fatal or non fatal, loss of belongings, personal effects or damage to any tent, motor vehicle or caravan whilst on KLRUFC premises.
