Pre season friendly v Kendal

On Saturday 10 August, the second of our pre season friendlies, v our local friends and rivals from Kendal. Both teams had lots of players on holiday, but the youngsters and one or two older heads who turned out, played some entertaining rugby on a warm and sunny afternoon. Kendal scored four, converted tries, whilst Kirkby answered back with three tries, none converted. Ben Lawson and Harry Ralston scored two wide out, but not sure who scored the other? Lots of positives to take from this run out, with more pre season matches to come, v Clitheroe this Saturday at 2pm, and then Thursday 22 v North Ribblesdale at 6pm.
