Regional North Two – Week 4

No surprises this week, we had a tough game at Middlesbrough, current Yorkshire Cup holders who are certainly contenders to win the league this season, with a large, mobile pack and some strong, and fast threequarters. Carlisle pushed the league leaders Northern close at home, and Aspatria had a very narrow defeat away at Consett. Fellow Cumbrians, Keswick went down at former leaders Morpeth, and Upper Eden well beaten at West Hartlepool. Durham City had a home win against Guisborough, and the league is beginning to take shape.
